The Maric Validators are all based around check digit verification according to ISO standard 7064 Mod 97-10. The standard may be obtained here.
SWIFT (The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) is designated by the ISO Technical Management Board to act as the Registration Authority for the IBAN standard ISO 13616-1:2007 and publishes the IBAN Registry. (This is a .pdf document). Specific details are available as a .csv file here.
